Getting Started With InvestorHubFx Navigator https://investorhubfx.com/en/fxt-navigator-guide/fxt-navigator-basics/getting-started-with-fxt-navigator/getting-started-with-fxt-navigator/ Fri, 28 Oct 2022 05:27:19 +0000 https://investorhubfx.com/?p=36427 As you know, the InvestorHubFx Navigator is a powerful tool to scan the markets, so how can you utilize this tool?

Using each tab in the MarketWatch part of the InvestorHubFx Navigator, you can scan a range of symbols to look for opportunities, outliers and certain conditions that you find a good trading opportunity.

When people mention, the Trend is your Friend, they mean trade in line with the trend. With the Performance and Trend tab, it makes it easier to see what markets are moving in a trending fashion and which ones are not.

Oversold and Overbought indicators often look to represent a market that might be looking to turn around and go the other direction. Meanwhile, some traders look to trade on neutral pairs so find ‘normality’ in the market. No matter your style of trade, the InvestorHubFx Navigator allows you to identify opportunities in the market and easily scan the condition of a large range of symbols.

When you see a trade opportunity that you like, simply click the corresponding symbol in the market watch to open a new chart. When you go into a chart, the navigator then tells you the profit and loss of your trading for that symbol. This is a huge help, particularly if you are not currently tracking your data closely. Some people naturally trade certain instruments well, and knowing what is working for you is critical to your long term success as a trader.

What is InvestorHubFx Navigator? https://investorhubfx.com/en/fxt-navigator-guide/fxt-navigator-basics/about-fxt-navigator/what-is-fxt-navigator/ Wed, 19 Oct 2022 06:02:47 +0000 https://investorhubfx.com/?p=36190 InvestorHubFx Navigator™ is a full set of tools which gives you the opportunity to get historical statistics and analytics as well as identify trading ideas with a statistical edge. Additionally, It includes alerts and signal generation. It makes traders’ experience easier and more enjoyable with up-to-date market data and tools integrated within the MetaTrader 4 and 5 interfaces.

The InvestorHubFx Navigator is a tool traders use to navigate the markets more easily, by presenting a series of information that is easy to read. When you see something of interest, simply click the corresponding Symbol to investigate further.

Page 1 of the navigator (the Market Watch) shows the Daily change, weekly change and monthly change in percent, along with year to date change. In one page, you can get a feel for the direction of a currency pair or index for the day, month and year. This quick method of scanning the market will help identify potential opportunities right now and easily check the chart of that symbol with the click of a button.

The Trend section of the Navigator also shows indication of trend using moving averages, making it easily visible when all 3 elements are pointing to a Buy trend or a Sell trend. Rather than cycling through each chart and looking at a range of indicators and movement, the Trend page shows you an overview of the trend of a range of symbols in one page.

The Oscillators page is similar to trend, showing Neutral, Oversold or Overbought on a range of symbols in one page. This again makes it incredibly easy to scan the market for opportunities.

Opportunities often arise when the markets are not balanced, leading to things like trend going one way or indicators alluding to a certain outcome. By scanning a range of symbols, you will have an overview of where the market sits, and also be shown quickly what symbols are showing out of the ordinary conditions.

The Correlation Matrix is a tool that allows you to view correlations of symbols against other symbols, including currency, indices and more. When trading multiple symbols, risk is an important consideration to ensure you understand the correlation of the trades you have one. If, for example, two of your trades are heavily correlated, your risk may effectively be doubled, as the outcome of both is probably going to be similar. The correlation matrix helps to make trading portfolio assessments.

Overall, the Navigator is a great tool to quickly scan the market for opportunities without having to look at each and every chart.

How to use the InvestorHubFx Navigator https://investorhubfx.com/en/fxt-navigator-guide/fxt-navigator-basics/about-fxt-navigator/how-to-use-the-fxt-navigator/ Wed, 19 Oct 2022 01:44:06 +0000 https://investorhubfx.com/?p=36588 The InvestorHubFx Navigator is a tool that traders can use to identify opportunities in the market, by filtering and assessing different criteria.

Depending on your trading strategy, you may like to use the navigator to identify markets that are trending, with all three components of trend in line, or you may like to trade markets that are not trending, and looking to trade within balanced market conditions.

The image below shows symbols by highest to lowest movement in 2021. To get the list, you can click on the 2021 header (or any header). This allows you to get real time data on what is moving and what has moved. Being clear on where the market sits and what movements have occurred is very important. The InvestorHubFx Navigator allows you to quickly identify market movers and make better, more informed decisions.

When you find a market that fits your requirements (movement/volatility etc.), you can investigate trends via the trend tab.

The below screenshot shows the bollinger band studies for a range of symbols. When hovering over “More Stats…” the dialogue box brings up information on average high and average low and the bar these points are reached. It also shows the count (or times this has signal has occurred since the start date). This can help you identify trading opportunities based on the criteria you input.

Seeing how many times this trade setup occurs, the last%, average% and median% of the trades in one simple display is an incredible feature to help you identify trade opportunities that may offer consistency or match your risk criteria and trading style.

Once you find some setups that fit your plan (after checking out the average movement on each signal) you can save it, by selecting the symbol and saving the study. Later, you can view the active signals for each selection to see what symbols have reached the entry condition. Pick the study (image below) then press start to see what symbols are active. This filtering process helps you keeping track of the best setups available right now, without having to scan each and every chart, assess and filter what might be a good set up or not. Setting up your studies based on the data will be highly valuable long term.

The above image shows that there are 4 active symbols (symbols that reached the conditions of the studies I selected). This means I don’t have to spend as much time looking for these setups, my ideal trades have been set up as studies and I can check periodically to see if anything meets the conditions.
